Dan Gordon and Dean Biersch started an all-out beer movement.
They had a dream, an idea, and a passion for beer. Dan Gordon
was the most preferred brewer in the country and Dean Biersch
was a beer aficionado, as well as a restaurant operation expert.
Together, they made an amazing team, which resulted in “A
Match Made in Beer Heaven”.
Dan and Dean opened the first Gordon Biersch
Brewery restaurant and bar in Palo Alto, CA in 1988. Since
then, they have opened several more breweries all across the
nation. Gordon Biersch currently brews five hand-crafted beers
to perfection – Golden Export, Blonde Bock, Pilsner,
Marzen, and Dunkles. In addition to these signature lagers,
Gordon Biersch has also created special brew blends that add
a one-of-a-kind flavor to every season throughout the year.
If you’re looking for something non-alcoholic, Gordon
Biersch brews a specialty rootbeer.
Their menu items are created with special
flavors to match your favorite beer. For starters, Gordon
Biersch Garlic Fries (now available at your local Costco)
go great with any of their lagers. Their custom recipe for
Shrimp and Chicken Potstickers is a fiery oriental delight
(shown above). If you’re craving something Italian,
you can order one of their special pizzas, hand-tossed with
homemade dough. Or enjoy one of their unique pasta dishes
