		TOM COLLINS INGREDIENTS
		• 1 oz - Dry Gin • ¼ oz - Lime Juice • 1 tsp - Sugar • 2 tbsp - Lemon Juice • 4 oz - Soda Water • 2 Drops - Orange Oil


		Mix sugar, lemon juice and oil of orange in a collins glass. Add lime juice and gin, stir well. Put in two medium lumps of ice, and fill to the top with soda water. Stir just a bit and serve.



		DID YOU KNOW?
		There are several accounts that mark the time and place where the Tom Collins originated from. The most recent account puts the cocktail in the beginning of the 19th century. Tom Collins, an Irish immigrant and one of eight children, worked as a bartender in the New Jersey and New York area. This created this drink for himself, he wanted something he could sip throughout the day without getting “uptight”. His friends tried it, enjoyed it and made it his signature drink.
